REFUND POLICY

1. Overview
At AI For NGOs (www.aiforngos.in), a unit of Genie Web Solutions, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, replacements, or cancellations are applicable for our three product categories: Physical Books, Digital Products, and Online Courses.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a transaction on our website, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
2. Physical Books
Eligible for Refund or Replacement:
· You received a damaged or defective book
· You received the wrong book (different from what you ordered)
· The book was lost in transit and not delivered within the stipulated delivery timeframe
Conditions:
· Refund or replacement requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery date in case of non-delivery)
· The book must be unused, in its original condition, and in original packaging (for returns)
· You must provide your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs (for damaged/wrong items) when contacting us
Not Eligible for Refund:
· Change of mind after delivery
· Damage caused by the customer after delivery
· Requests raised after 7 days of delivery
Process:
· Email us at info@aiforngos.in with subject line: "Refund Request – Order #[Your Order Number]"
· Our team will review your request within 3 business days
· If approved, refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days
3. Digital Products (eBooks, Templates, Toolkits)
General Policy:
Due to the nature of digital products - which are delivered electronically and are accessible immediately upon purchase - we do not offer refunds on Digital Products once the download link has been accessed or the product has been delivered to your email.
Eligible for Refund:
· The download link is broken or non-functional and we are unable to resolve the issue within 48 hours
· You were charged but did not receive the product or download link despite contacting us
Not Eligible for Refund:
· Change of mind after purchase
· Product already downloaded or accessed
· Incompatibility with your device (product format is clearly specified on the product page - please review before purchase)
Process:
· Email us at info@aiforngos.in with subject line: "Digital Product Issue – Order #[Your Order Number]"
· Our team will attempt to resolve the issue first (resend link, alternate format, etc.)
· If the issue cannot be resolved, a full refund will be processed within 7–10 business days
4. Online Courses
General Policy:
We offer a 7-day refund window for Online Courses, subject to the conditions below.
Eligible for Refund:
· Refund request is made within 7 days of purchase
· Less than 20% of the course content has been accessed or completed
· The course content is found to be materially different from what was described on the product page
Not Eligible for Refund:
· Requests made after 7 days of purchase
· More than 20% of the course has been accessed or completed
· Change of mind after significant course consumption
· Failure to complete the course within the access period
Process:
· Email us at info@aiforngos.in with subject line: "Course Refund Request – Order #[Your Order Number]"
· Our team will verify your course access records and respond within 3 business days
· If approved, refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days
5. Cancellations
Before Payment:
Orders not yet paid are automatically cancelled and no action is needed.
After Payment – Physical Books:
· Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not yet been dispatched
· Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible - please follow the return process under Section 2
After Payment – Digital Products & Online Courses:
- Cancellations are not accepted once access or delivery has been provided, as these are intangible products delivered immediately upon payment
6. Refund Method & Timeline
· Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, wallet, etc.)
· Refund processing time after approval: 7–10 business days
· In some cases, your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the credit - this is beyond our control
· We do not offer cash refunds under any circumstances
7. Duplicate or Erroneous Payments
If you have been charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error, please contact us immediately at info@aiforngos.in with your transaction details. We will investigate and refund the duplicate charge within 5–7 business days.
